Congratulations on your decision to take charge of your life and improve your health using naturopathic medicine! We recognize the importance of your decision and we are honored that you have chosen us to be a part of your process. We are all committed to your health and your success, and we are here to support you in your health journey in any way that we can. Your first office visit with Dr. Strand in Scottsdale, AZ will last approximately 60-90 minutes. She will review your completed New Patient Paperwork, discuss your current concerns, take a full medical history, perform a physical exam as appropriate, and create an individualized treatment plan specifically for you.
Depending on the health concerns being addressed, we highly encourage our patients to become a member of one of our comprehensive programs (DETOX, THRIVE, SHRINK). If you are unable to do that, we typically recommend committing to at least 6-8 follow-up visits in order to have the opportunity to regain your Optimal Health and Vitality. These follow-up visits usually last 30-60 minutes. For your convenience & for those of you who do not live in AZ, Dr. Strand also offers follow-up visits as Telehealth Video Consults &/or Phone Consults (charged as regular follow-ups for people not involved in our DETOX, SHRINK, or THRIVE Programs). This is a great option that many people (and the environment) value. New Patient Paperwork: Please register for our online Patient Portal (contact us for the link and instructions) so you can fill out all of the New Patient Paperwork forms at least 3-5 days priorto your first office visit! Dr. Strand, as a functional naturopathic physician, likes to collect as much information as possible, so these 11 New Patient Paperwork forms are quite comprehensive and may take you 45-90 minutes to fill out. Please set aside sufficient time to fill out the forms thoughtfully and completely. This information will help us have a deeper understanding of who you are and what you are currently experiencing, so we can guide you in the most effective way.
If we do not receive your completed New Patient Paperwork at least 3-5 days prior to your scheduled Initial Consult, we may need to reschedule your consultation.
